"Breezy" version 5.10

For those of you using Ubuntu Linux this is a reminder that "Breezy Badger" release is set for Oct 13th and this new version is definitely worth getting.

I have been running the preview release on my notebook for a few weeks now and there are some features that I really enjoy. A few of these include newer versions of Gnome (very smooth!), more complete notebook support (on two notebooks I've installed it on), boot-up splash screen (also very smooth).

If you'd like to do a clean install you can download the preview here or use the instructions here for a "dist-upgrade".
